All members of the UMECC Manufacturing Group need to pass and fully satisfy UMECC’s strict and unique vendor qualification system. We take pride in playing a considerable role in assuring that our UMECC Manufacturing Group members through our technical guidance and our strict vendor qualification system achieve and maintain a first class manufacturing level.

Each member of the UMECC Manufacturing Group is specialized in supplying certain types of equipment or parts and takes a leading position in their area. The members include foundries, forging shops, heavy fabrication and machining plants, heat treatment shops and firms especially set up for specific equipment production and technology supply. Some of them are integrated manufacturing complexes equipped with all major manufacturing processing equipment and capable of supplying large, heavy and complete sets of major equipment. Some of them are small to medium size shops focusing on auxiliary equipment or just targeting spare parts. The diversity of manufacturers and engineering firms we are aligned with gives us the ability to provide a steel mill with anything they need for their entire production line, be it major equipment or just spare parts.

UMECC Manufacturing Group Members have a wealth of experience in working together with world renowned engineering firms like SMS, VAI and Danieli, for projects all over the world and they are familiar with and adhere to international standards like DIN, ASMI, JIS and GB.
